As we age, we tend to develop facial lines. Repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, or raising eyebrows can cause skin to furrow and fold - gradually resulting in the formation of facial lines. 

Neuromodulators (muscle relaxers) can be injected into different muscles to cause temporary reduction of the underlying muscle activity - which helps facial lines look visibly smoother. 

Neuromodulator injections are quick procedures with minimal downtime. You will start seeing progress in 2-3 days with full effect in 2 weeks. This can last up to 3 months. 

At Veda, we offer a wide variety of neuromodulators including Botox, Dysport and Xeomin. 

Xeomin does not contain animal derived ingredients and is an excellent vegan option.

When we are young, our skin is full of collagen and hyaluronic acid.  With aging multiple factors like sun damage, accumulation of toxins, stress and smoking will reduce our skin’s ability to produce these molecules. This results in the appearance of sagging and thin skin.

Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen in your body. As a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator, Sculptra helps to restore the deep, underlying structure of the skin by stimulating endogenous collagen production - leading to complete facial rejuvenation. 

You will start noticing improvements usually after one month and the results can last up to 2-3 years. 

We offer Sculptra for both facial and body rejuvenation. Areas treated include temples and cheek hollows, nasolabial folds and marionette lines, chin, buttocks, arm laxity, neck bands, hands and décolleté region. 

SkinVive “hydration from within”  is the first and only hyaluronic acid microdroplet injectable indicated to improve skin smoothness. Unlike traditional dermal fillers that primarily focus on adding volume and contouring facial features, SkinVive works to hydrate and rejuvenate the skin from within. It's typically used to improve skin texture, increase hydration, and give the skin a radiant glow. When SkinVive is injected, hyaluronic acid enhances skin hydration primarily through its water-binding properties. It also influences the expression and function of AQP3 in the skin, which thereby transports water and glycerol in your skin making it look more hydrated and giving you the best “radiant glow”. 

SkinVive is approved for all Fitzpatrick skin types. Full effects become visible around 30 days after treatment. Results can last up to 6 months. Can be used for cheeks, perioral lines, neck, back of the hands and for redness/rosacea.

KYBELLA (deoxycholic acid) is a prescription medicine used to improve the profile of moderate-to-severe submental fat, also called double chin. Deoxycholic acid is known to break down fat cells hence giving the patient desired results. 

Usually, patients require 3-4 treatments to get the best results. These treatments are offered 4-6 weeks apart. Please note that you may experience pain and swelling immediately after the procedure with improvement over the next 7-10 days.
