EXOSOMES

Exosomes are extracellular vesicles that are released by cells into the extracellular environment.  They are nano-sized membrane-bound particles that contain various biomolecules such as proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids. Exosomes play a crucial role in intracellular communication by transferring their cargo from parent cells to target cells, thereby influencing various physiological and pathological processes. 

In regenerative and aesthetic medicine, they help with anti-aging, skin rejuvenation, and hair restoration by influencing processes like collagen production and tissue regeneration. 

Veda offers a large variety of different exosomes for both skin rejuvenation and hair restoration. Exosomes also help with redness, rosacea and acne scarring due to their anti-inflammatory properties. 

We usually offer a combination of microneedling with topical exosome application. While microneedling opens your skin channels, exosomes provide all the necessary information at cellular levels for collagen stimulation, thereby improving skin elasticity and firmness 

Our “Exosome Package” offers 3 sessions of microneedling with topical exosome application 4-6 weeks apart. 

We recommend our patients to have a few sessions of microneedling with exosomes prior to dermal fillers, PDO threads, biostimulators such as Sculptra and laser resurfacing for better overall results and reduced risk for complications like scarring and fibrosis.
